Two wrongs don’t make a right

Two wrongs can never make a right. It is only in Mathematics that two negative values make a positive value. In life though, two wrongs have never, can never and will never make a right. In a season like the one the COVID-19 has brought, many people tend to overreact to many things. The stress levels are very high.

People are quick- tempered. Decision making ability is greatly compromised. So when you see your colleagues, your spouse, your friends or your community behaving a bit out of character, pull back and think twice before you react. Run away from arguments.

Road rage may be common especially when we are all trying to beat the curfew that has been imposed. Just purpose to remain calm. Be the mature one. Do you remember the saying never argue with a fool people may never know the difference? Keep such in mind. When you do, your will protect your joy and your peace.

Remember that the joy of the Lord is your strength. Protect this joy even when the circumstances call for you to behave otherwise. If it means, you shut up, do. If it means calling a friend for a chat, do. If it means you sing and dance, do. We all will have stories to tell when this is over.  We will still pursue our destiny. Keep safe and keep your hope alive.
