Clarity

It is vital for one to have their vision crystal clear, from the very beginning. It helps you to be focused and ensure that you consciously put time, energy and effort into things that really matter. This means that:
1) You do not waste your time on trivial things
2) You are very certain and specific with your ask (whether it be of yourself or of others).
3) It guides your thought process and action points.
4) It ensures you fully utilize the resources available to you.
5) You (and everybody else that becomes part of your vision) are totally aligned to the purpose.
6) You can stay accountable to yourself and to others that invest in you and your vision.
You may now be wondering, “How can I get clarity?”
1) Core values are the foundation that we base every single decision off of. Define yours and live by them.
2) Remove everything that doesn’t contribute anything meaningful to your goals. Those are distractions.
3) You can’t live thoughtfully or work effectively in chaos. Get rid of physical and mental clutter.
4) Do one thing at a time. Otherwise, some golden opportunities may slip through the cracks. You can only serve one master at a time.
5) Success, like happiness, cannot be pursued. It is an unintended side-effect of one’s dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as the byproduct of one’s surrender to a person other than oneself.
6) PRAY. Faith without action is dead, but action without faith is futile.
I’m sure you can now see why clarity is a key theme in my book Give me my mountain. Never start a journey without knowing your destination.
