The macro world has been talking of a new normal. And truly it looks like things are slowly settling down to somewhere, to a new normal. Today I want us to pause a little bit and ask ourselves, as the world settles down, where will your personal life settle? Are there still changes that you need to do. If so do them quickly!

At the business level. What do you need to change? One thing I have known now more than ever before is that profitability and liquidity are key. I will focus on controlling my costs even as I increase the turnover. I will save more as cash remains key.

If you are an employee, what do you need to change? Perhaps your attitude. Maybe you need to add value to yourself by diversifying your skills. You just have to change.

As a family what have we learnt? Personally I know this for sure in times of a crisis, the family unit is the most significant support system one can ever have. I will try not to forget this.

As a church (Christian) I have learnt that physical churches can be closed! Therefore, you must know the greatest church is in you. So work for your own salvation with fear and trembling. And keep your fire burning. Learn to pray and seek God on your own.

As for our political leaders, we have confirmed that they don’t know it all all the time. This time round there was too much gambling in decision making. Don’t always follow them blindly. This lesson I will carry. Try to understand their why of every move. Sometimes it’s not for the common good!

But there is one thing i am truly proud of, now than ever, I have confirmed that God is the same yesterday, today and forever more. He remains the most powerful, the all knowing God. He remains faithful. And let the world know this truth.
