There is one thing I have come to believe that is very important in someone’s life – An authority! These are persons I consider more personal than role models or mentors. For me, it was not by design but I have realised that when it comes to my business life, there is this one person who if they tell me not to do something, I just don’t do it.

On my spiritual side, there is my pastor whom I respect and honour so much that, I have allowed him to speak into my life. From my friends, I have a long  time friend, is that person who will speak and I will listen. My mother is the other authority in my life.

Such people keep you grounded. Many times we loose direction because we are not accountable to anybody. This is especially when you have excelled above the ordinary persons. We then can act and do what we feel like, and get away with it. I would urge you therefore, if you do not already have , to identify those people who you will allow to have a moral authority over your life.
