Health and success

This is what I have found myself thinking about. Without health all the other life goals cannot be achieved. No wonder God cares so much about our health that he says that he desires us to walk in health. When your family or close friend is unwell , it affects your life and your ability to become productive. So if it is so important why do we take it so lightly?

One major reason is because it requires a lot of discipline to deal with that what affects it.
1) The food we eat
The least healthy foods usually taste much better than the most healthy ones for example, starches versus vegetables.
2)Exercises
My goodness, the will to honour your gym regime is so tough!
3)Stress management
Don’t we all say, I am so stressed and yet we do nothing about it. Yet stress is a carrier of many killer diseases.
4)Social engagements that give temporary joy like drinking and smoking
Why do we engage? Yet we know the consequences?

Now that we all know this, what decisions do we need to make to remain healthy as individuals, families and as a nation? I am a firm believer that prevention is far much better than cure. How do you remain accountable to your family, your friends and so on now that your health affects them? We all need to call ourselves for a meeting.

How do we make it easier for ourselves to remain healthy? Of course, above all I recognise God is the giver of health, but even then he has given us wisdom and freedom to chart out our path. Let’s agree health is goal number one this year. That way your productivity will remain high. Over to you great people.
