There are only two roads and gates in life-:
1)The straight and the narrow
2)The wide and the broad

Many of us however are trying to create a third one. An in-between. This in-between road is very deceiving. It has no clarity and no direction. What it leads to I do not know. It’s confusion.

What I know is: The straight and narrow leads to life. The wide and broad leads to destruction. While this may be dealing on life after we live this world, it is also true that things and life that looks easy never ends well. That journey that has sacrifice, humility, discipline etc. is what leads to success and fulfillment.

I believe every day represents an opportunity to make a choice;  To choose between the straight and the narrow and the broad and wide. Either of these has consequences. The in-between, is deception, let’s not conform ourselves to it. Eventually it too doesn’t lead us to the desired good place.

No wonder the word of God tells us -: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14 NIV

Note the narrow has very few people. The wide has many. So don’t always celebrate when you find yourself in the company of the majority. Instead, be wise and interrogate where you are and make the right decision.

The best decision is being on the straight and narrow for there is life, peace, joy, prosperity and all things good, even when it doesn’t appear so in the eyes of men. Have a great Sunday and remember to be on the right road. The road that leads you to your God given destiny.
