I invite you today to go into an imaginary forest with me. In the forest trees. Tree number one needs sunshine to grow.  This tree will make sure that its either at the same level or above the rest and will not allow itself to be blocked from the sunshine. It knows that its survival is dependent on its position.

In the same forest, there are those plants we call ground covers. This is tree number two. This plant remains at the ground and usually it is under the shade of tree number one. This plant knows its position. It usually does not grow above the ground.

Then there are also those trees who are parasites. This is tree number three. These ones survive on others. What is more, their survival depends on the survival of their carriers. If the carrier tree dies, they also die.

Now let us ask ourselves: Which tree are you? The one that considers itself equal to other trees in the forest? If this is the tree that you are, you need to:

1. Fight for your sunshine.
2. Fight for your space. Extend your branches. Your leaves need sunshine and you must get the sunshine. The stakes are too high. So you must fight.
3. If you recognise yourself as ground cover, then you could very well be in a comfort place. All you need to do is to find a shade under the bigger trees and remain there. You will be trodden upon and if for any reason the shading trees die you also die. Parasitic plants also represent people. These don’t even work. They imagine people are working for them. They have an entitlement mentality. These people who leap where they haven’t sown.

As an entrepreneur, you can only be the big trees in the forest. You must fight for your sunshine. In fact, you will find yourself giving shade to the ground cover plants(people).  And that’s okay because it’s part of your natural duty. And guess what the parasitic plants( people) will also hang on you.  That should not worry you because they cannot destroy you.  You will have enough to feed them and still grow.

The personal question is, are you plant number 1,2 or 3? All are plants but the tactics of survival are different in the forest. At GMMM we believe you must be plant number one. Fight your journey to the top .I pray we all become the main trees in the forest. Only then you will get to the top of our mountains.
