Wisdom precedes wealth – for without wisdom you can’t create wealth. And even if somehow it was given to you, you will not be able to sustain it. That’s how important wisdom is. Invest your resources and time to get it. More so now that we are in the season of going for our mountains. Of late I have found myself making a mental as I hire new staff . He/she must be streetwise.

To me this means that when that person is faced with an uncommon problem, they will be able to come up with an uncommon decision. This calls for wisdom. Wisdom is not about papers and as much as it is build over time, you must exert yourself towards getting it.

You can get this wisdom by sitting at the feet of them that have been there before you, by seeking knowledge from books, by just being sensitive to what is around you, by trying and making mistakes and learning from them.  But above all by seeking it from your Maker.
